(Web Desk) – Facebook has left many mouths talking as it has copied, yet again, a Snapchat feature but this time for its main application, TechJuice reported Thursday.
The ephemeral stories feature has now been introduced in Facebook application.
Mark Zuckerberg first announced an unofficial tiff with Snapchat after he permitted his team to introduce stories feature in Instagram, that was an exact replica of the latter.
He did not stop there as Whatsapp was the second Facebook-owned application to get the feature. The last app to have stories feature is Facebook Messenger.
However, after Whatsapp status opened to mixed reviews the feature was rolled back.
This time around, Facebook has introduced the feature in its main application.
The ephemeral stories feature allows your contact to see what you have been upto through the pictures that you upload. However, the stories are no longer available after 24 hours as they require continuous update.
The whole point is fast and pacy style of virtual social interaction.
